For the real Boston tourist taking a Duck Tour is a great way to get to know the city. Once on board you will be brought around the city of Boston to see sites such as The State House, TD Banknorth Garden, Boston Common, Newbury Street, Quincy Market, and so much more! Tours run anywhere between 55 minutes to 80 minutes depending on the where you choose to hop on board. The tour of Boston is then completed with a nice boat road in the Charles River, where visitors can see the Boston skyline and have a beautiful view of Cambridge, MA.
The only downside to the Boston Duck Tour is it can be a bit pricey. Tickets cost $31 for adults, $27 for seniors and students, $21 for children ages 3-11, and $6 for children under the age of 3 including infants. If you are looking for a cheap activity to learn more about Boston, I would not suggest hopping on the Duck Tour.
If you go on the Duck Tour Boston website you can get coupons for discounts on the tickets. http://www.bostonducktours.com/tickets_main.aspx
