If you have children and are looking for a fun weekend activity, the Boston Children’s Museum is the place to go! The museum is geared towards helping children understand the world they live in through fun interactive activities. This museum is great because with one flat admission charge is your ticket to anything in the museum. Some of the exhibits in the museum cover topics of the environment, science, culture, health &fitness, and the arts. You do not have to pay extra for anything besides food and if you choose to buy a souvenir at the gift shop.
The Children’s Museum is open every day from 10am to 5pm, however on Fridays the museum stays open until 9pm. Admission fees for the museum are as follows:
- Adults $12
- Seniors $12
- Kids $12
- On Saturday- Thursday admission from 4-5pm is only $6.
This is one of the less expensive museums to visit in Boston.
